Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games

In charge of over 4000 DVCPRO HD tapes and DVDs of the official recordings of the games for the International Olympic Committee. Assuring quality control over recordings and metadata.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Definition of procedures, automation of tasks and of routine checks, quality control over completeness and consistency of recordings and logs, liaison with staff from the Olympic News Channel ad definition of naming conventions for the whole production department. Generation of daily
reports and statistics, helping the over 80 rights holding broadcasters find footage in the archive.

GAINED SKILLS
Archive management best practices, knowledge of broadcast standards and formats, experience of television working environments. In depth knowledge of the EVS (http://www.evs.tv) video server work-flow system.
 

Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games
